Hi! My name is Hayden Fancher and I am your school photographer this fall for Little Ranch Preschool! I am so excited to come and meet your kiddo and capture a timeless photo that is full of their personality. With fine art portraits, the aim is to step outside the traditional corporate model of school photography and give you photos you want to display in your home.
The Need To Know!
Fine Art School Photography is an approach that utilizes a plain, crisp backdrop and delivers high-end photos of your child.
The goal is to let kids be kids! Meeting them where they are and making sure to capture their personality, as is. I have learned that in order to get the best photo of them, they have to feel comfortable. Leaning into silly interactions or letting them feel shy, each kid will have a different experience because each kid is different.
What is a Fine Art School Portrait?
Each class will come to our photo area and go one at a time. I will spend about 1-2 minutes with each kid to quickly get to know them and do my very best to capture their true & full personality!
What to expect on picture day?
My biggest recommendation is to avoid graphic tees and overly bright or neon colors. Neutral clothes that are plain or lightly patterned help to not take away focus from your child. My next biggest recommendation is that you make sure your child will be comfortable. If you know they cannot stand a collared shirt, it is not worth it, even for picture day!
What should my child wear?
How can I view my images?
Within three weeks, you will be sent a gallery via email to view the proofing gallery for your child. Each child will have 2-5 images in both color and black and white to select from.
Within the gallery, you will have the option to order digital downloads, prints, and canvases. Unlike traditional school photography, this method allows you to select the photos you truly love without having them pre-selected for you. There is also no set package so you can order exactly what you want. :)
The gallery will remain open for fourteen days (14) so all orders must be placed within that window.
How will I order photos?
Purchased digital files will be available for immediate download. After completing the sale, instructions will be sent to your email with downloading information.
All physical items will be delivered to your school within three weeks of the gallery closing and will be passed out to the respective student. This ensures families receive their portraits conveniently and efficiently. This also allows me to double check that all printed items match the quality I aim to deliver.
